Finding New Apps Through Popular Feeds

App stores rank things by downloads and paid placement, which tells you little about whether an app is any good. Vlibe takes a different route. You see what people are sharing from an app, so you can judge it from real screenshots before you install anything.

Browsing what's popular

The discover section shows apps that are getting attention around the world right now. Open one and you land in its app-specific feed, with every screenshot posted from it. Scroll through and look at the things people bother to capture: a finished workout, a tricky puzzle solved, a map with a route drawn on it. Those tell you what the app does well.

Pay attention to the comments too. If people keep asking the same question, the answer is usually the thing you'll want to know before you download.

Narrowing it down

A popular app is not always the right one for you. Once you find something interesting, check who else is posting from it. If the people sharing it are doing the thing you want to do, that's a good sign. If the feed is mostly one person's progress or an ad, move on.

You can also follow a few people whose screenshots you keep liking. Their activity shows up for you, and over time it becomes a steady source of recommendations that you trust more than a generic list.

Keeping your own list

Add the apps you care about to your profile. It gives your friends a quick sense of what you use and makes it easier for them to pass along something you'd like. Your list will also get more useful the more you use the app-specific feeds, because you will start to notice which kinds of apps get shared by people with similar tastes.
